Amelia’s Ace of Hearts Ride:

The most exciting one day motorcycle ride in the state happened on Saturday, June 13th!  Taking over Maryland, Amelia’s Ace of Hearts Ride had two departure points this year…Barnes Motor World in Westminster and Chesapeake Harley Davidson in Darlington.  Both rides finished at Essex Community College with two after parties being held on each side of town at the Greene Turtle in Westminster and Sylvester’s in White Marsh!  A 2009 custom Victory 8 Ball from Barnes Motor World for just $20 a ticket was raffled off live on the Morning Show on 98 Rock!  Proceeds from this event benefit the Maryland Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Gifted @ Lot O & The Shops at Kenilworth:

It’s getting cold outside and the economy is even colder, but the spirit of the season is here and the time for giving is never frozen.  “Gifted” was a two part opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate during the holidays.  Slacker generated donations and collected gifts that were given to the Bea Gaddy Family Center
Annual Holiday Party that occurred on December 20th.
12/14:
We sold limited edition “Gifted” shirts for $10 in the CBS live broadcast area of
Lot O for the Ravens vs. Steelers game with all proceeds after costs being donated.
12/19:
We collected gifts at The Shops at Kenilworth from 9am-9pm.
“Gifted” was sponsored by The Harbor Club, Project Wish List,
CBS Radio
and SmartBox Portable Storage.
To Give is to be Gifted.
